CSC Fuel Cards Customer Spotlight

We had the pleasure of interviewing Craig Anderson, Managing Director of the leading fuel card company, CSC Fuel Cards. Craig has been with the company since its formation nearly 27 years ago and gives some insight into the companies journey in this time! CSC Fuel Cards is based in Ireland but covers the UK as well, providing an independently owned fuel card.


Company History 

CSC is a family owned company,  formed in 1993 and starting from scratch now has an annual turnover of £60m.


What makes CSC Fuel cards unique?

We have kept the personal touch with our customers. We also treat all our staff as a family. Most of our staff have been with us for over 20 years. 


What are your 3 main company values and why?

How has the OnlineFuels platform affected yours and your company’s role in the industry?

I like using OnlineFuels as I prefer to view all my prices in one place and order online rather than having to telephone each individual supplier. The recent update to a  mobile friendly platform was very welcome.

We began as a shipping company.

CSC were included in the London Stock Exchange Group’s “1000 Companies to inspire Britain 2019!”


One thing you have learnt in the past month (industry related on not)? 

The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.


If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

Professional golfer.


What is your biggest challenge in the Oil industry?

Constantly fluctuating oil prices.


Any advice that you would recommend to someone new to the industry?  

Grow slowly. You’ll get there in the end.
